  • Learning records: Enrolment status, attendance, progress, assessments and certificate records.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use information to:

  • Process registrations and manage user accounts.

  • Issue and verify certificates.
  • Respond to enquiries and service requests.
  • Send account, course, payment and certificate updates.

Google Sign-In, Google Calendar and Google Meet

Digital Pakpattan offers optional Google Sign-In and a Google Calendar integration for scheduling online classes and generating Google Meet joining links.

Information We Access

When you use Google Sign-In, we receive the basic account information authorised by you, such as your Google account identifier, email address, name and profile picture, where provided. We use this information to authenticate you and support your Digital Pakpattan account. We do not receive your Google password.

When a teacher connects Google Calendar, we request permission to manage events on calendars they own. Our class-scheduling integration uses this permission to create, retrieve, update and cancel class-related events and generate Google Meet links. This may involve class titles, descriptions, dates, times, time zones, event identifiers and meeting links.

Google Sign-In alone does not authorise Calendar access. Teachers separately authorise the Calendar integration.

How We Use and Share This Information

We use Google account information to identify the connected user and provide the features they request. We use Calendar information to keep scheduled classes and their meeting links aligned with the Digital Pakpattan learning system.

Class information is transmitted to Google to create or update the associated Calendar event and meeting. Relevant class details and joining links may be displayed to the assigned teacher, authorised staff and students eligible to access that class.

Service providers supporting our hosting and infrastructure may process stored information as necessary to operate these features. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising, advertising profiles or training general-purpose AI or machine-learning models.

Digital Pakpattan’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements:

https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy

Storage and Security

We store the connected account identifiers, authorisation credentials and class-event references needed to maintain the integration. Authorisation credentials may include access and refresh tokens, which allow authorised scheduling updates without requiring a new Google login for every class.

We use access controls and protective measures for this information. Calendar integration tokens are stored encrypted on our server. Tokens are not displayed to students or included in public class information.

Retention, Disconnection and Deletion

We retain connection information while it is needed to provide the authorised integration. Class-event references and related learning records may remain while needed for course administration, support, security or applicable recordkeeping obligations.

You may disconnect Google Calendar through the available Digital Pakpattan connection controls. You may also revoke access through your Google Account’s third-party connections settings:

https://myaccount.google.com/connections

Revoking access stops future authorised access but does not itself delete previously stored Digital Pakpattan records or existing events in your Google Calendar. Existing Calendar events may need to be deleted separately in Google Calendar.

To request deletion of Google-derived information held by Digital Pakpattan, email digitalpakpattan@gmail.com and identify the connected account. Do not send your password or authorisation tokens. We may verify your identity before processing the request.

We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed, unless retention is required for applicable legal, security or recordkeeping purposes. Where an exception applies to a deletion request, we will explain the relevant reason. Residual backup copies may remain until the applicable backup retention cycle ends.

Your Choice

Connecting Google Calendar is optional. If you decline or revoke the required permissions, automatic Calendar synchronisation and Google Meet link generation will not be available for that connection. Other available login and learning features remain subject to your account’s access permissions.

For questions about Google data or privacy requests, contact digitalpakpattan@gmail.com.

Google Workspace API Data and AI/ML Compliance

Digital Pakpattan operates DP AI using a self-hosted Ollama AI model deployed on a privately managed Contabo VPS.

AI model inference is performed locally on our server infrastructure rather than through an external AI model provider’s API.

Google Workspace API user data is not used to develop, train, or improve generalized or foundational AI/ML models.

Google Calendar integration is used to provide authorized educational features, including live class scheduling, Google Calendar event management, and Google Meet link generation.

Digital Pakpattan does not transfer Google Workspace API user data to third-party AI model providers for training or secondary purposes.

The use of information received from Google Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy and the Google Workspace API User Data and Developer Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. Student and Teacher Access

Authorised staff and assigned instructors may access information needed to manage courses and support students. This may include enrolment, attendance, progress and relevant payment-status information.

Account holders are responsible for keeping their login details confidential and informing us if they suspect unauthorised access.

4. Certificate Verification

Where public certificate verification is available, someone using a certificate number, verification link or QR code may be able to view information confirming the certificate’s authenticity. This may include the student’s name, course, certificate number, issue date and certificate status.

Verification information may be accessible to anyone who receives the relevant identifier or link. Contact us if you have concerns about information displayed in your certificate record.

Information you send directly through those platforms is also processed by the relevant provider.

8. Data Retention and Security

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain relevant records, resolve disputes and meet applicable obligations. Retention periods vary by the type and purpose of the information.

Certificate records may need to be retained longer to support future verification.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information. However, no website, storage system or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Your Choices and Requests

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to stop promotional messages.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some information may need to be retained for legitimate recordkeeping or legal reasons. Available rights depend on applicable law.

10. Children and Young Learners

Where a student is under 18, a parent or guardian should be involved in registration and provide consent where required. If you believe a child has submitted personal information without appropriate permission, please contact us so we can review it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services or information-handling practices change. The latest version will appear on this page with a revised date. Where required, we will provide additional notice of significant changes.

Google Account Integration, Calendar Access & Data Privacy

Digital Pakpattan (https://pakpattan.net) provides an AI-powered learning and community platform that allows teachers to manage courses, schedule live classes, and connect with students.

1. Google Account Authorization

Digital Pakpattan allows teachers to connect their Google accounts through Google OAuth 2.0. Google account authorization is voluntary and is used to enable classroom scheduling and Google Calendar integration.

Users must authorize the requested permissions before Digital Pakpattan accesses their Google Calendar data.

2. Google User Data We Access

Depending on the permissions granted, Digital Pakpattan may access:

  • Basic Google account information, such as account name, email address, and profile information.
  • Google Calendar event information on calendars owned by the authorized teacher, including event titles, descriptions, dates, times, meeting links, and relevant attendee details.
  • Authorization tokens necessary to maintain the Google Calendar connection.

Digital Pakpattan does not request access to Gmail messages or Google Drive files as part of this Calendar integration.

3. How We Use Google User Data

Google user data is used to provide authorized classroom features, including:

  • Connecting teacher Google accounts.
  • Creating and managing live-class events in Google Calendar.
  • Generating Google Meet links for scheduled lessons.
  • Displaying class schedules and meeting details in relevant teacher and student dashboards.
  • Updating or cancelling authorized class events.
  • Sending class-related notifications through Digital Pakpattan.

Google Calendar access is limited to the permissions authorized by the teacher and the features supported by the application.

4. Data Sharing and Transfer

Relevant class information, such as lesson titles, scheduled times, and Google Meet joining links, may be made available to enrolled students and authorized classroom participants.

Digital Pakpattan does not sell Google user data or share it with data brokers or advertising networks.

Google user data is not used for targeted advertising, credit assessment, or unrelated commercial profiling.

5. Data Security

Digital Pakpattan uses HTTPS and appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect Google user information.

Google authorization credentials and access tokens must be protected against unauthorized access and used only for authorized functionality.

Access to class-related Google data is restricted according to the relevant user roles and permissions.

6. Data Retention, Disconnection and Deletion

Digital Pakpattan retains Google-related information only for as long as necessary to provide authorized classroom features, satisfy legitimate operational requirements, or comply with applicable law.

Teachers may revoke Google access through their Google Account permissions at:

https://myaccount.google.com/permissions

Teachers may also request disconnection of their Google integration and deletion of Google-related data held by Digital Pakpattan by contacting the platform’s support team.

Revoking Google access prevents further authorized API access, but does not automatically delete previously created Google Calendar events or all information previously stored by Digital Pakpattan.

Data deletion requests are handled in accordance with our applicable retention and deletion practices.

7. Google API Services User Data Policy and Limited Use

The use of information received from Google Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy and Google Workspace User Data and Developer Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Digital Pakpattan does not use raw, aggregated, anonymized, or derived Google Workspace API user data to develop, train, or improve generalized AI or machine learning models.

Google Workspace user data is not transferred to third-party AI services for the purpose of training their models.

Google API data is processed only for permitted, authorized, user-facing functionality and other uses expressly allowed under the applicable Google policies.

8. User Control and Consent

Users can choose whether to connect their Google accounts.

Digital Pakpattan requests Google permissions only for the functionality required by its authorized services.

Users can withdraw Google authorization through their Google Account settings.

For questions about Google account integration, privacy, or data deletion, please contact Digital Pakpattan through the contact methods published on https://pakpattan.net/.
